Made in 2014. Dark chocolate cupcakes with a vanilla buttercream. The scarecrow face is made out of fondant and the mouth is drawn on with edible ink. I made fondant buttons for eyes and a cork nose. Finally the hat was made by taking strips of chocolate fondant and weaving them to form a lattice, which was then trimmed to size.
