Made in 2014. The cake is a vanilla sponge filled with a layer of dark chocolate ganache and covered in black fondant icing. The Etch-a-Sketch, Rubik’s Cube and 80s badge are all shortbread biscuits covered in fondant decoration. The Rubik’s cube was made by sandwiching 3 separate square biscuits on top of each other and then covering in fondant to give the appearance that the layers of the cube could move. Finally, around the cake I made a Pac-man design and had the four ghosts chasing Pac-man as he went round the cake eating the pills and spaced the various bonus fruits (cherries, strawberry, pear and apple) within the line of pills.
