Made in 2014. Sherlock cupcakes. They are a plain sponge topped with a vanilla buttercream and fondant disc decorations. I chose to show Sherlock as it has evolved, so the top cupcake shows the original design with which people are familiar. The next two show the silhouettes of Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch as their characters in BBC’s Sherlock. The final cake reflects the flat at which Sherlock lives and so the brown background had some freehand lines drawn into it to reflect the wood of the door.
