Ladybird Cupcakes


Made in 2015. The cake is red velvet and is topped with a vanilla buttercream and a fondant ladybird. The spots on the lady bird are heart shaped as I wanted to make a Valentines themed cupcake, but do something a little different to the usual heart theme. Ladybirds were chosen as I could incorporate this and still use the colour red that Valentines is associated with.
