Flower Garden Cake



Made in 2015. The cake is a vanilla sponge filled with vanilla buttercream and mixed fruit jam. It is decorated with fondant flowers, crumbled chocolate cookies to represent the soil and piped buttercream to look like grass. The rose bush is a cupcake with each leaf individually placed in position and then topped with pink roses. The pebbles around the outside of the flower bed were made by using a marble effect on the fondant, to give a more realistic look. Finally the daises in the grass depict the number 90.
