Easter Cake



Made in 2015. The cake is a vanilla sponge filled with a mixed fruit jam and covered in fondant icing. To make the soil for the carrot patch I crumbled chocolate cookies to a fine crumb. The carrots and rabbits are all hand moulded from fondant icing and the picket fence was created freehand with lines added to create a wood grain effect. Finally around the base of the cake green buttercream was piped to have the effect of grass and daises were added to the main cake to add more colour.
