Travel Cake

 

Made in 2015. The cake is a vanilla sponge filled with raspberry jam and covered in fondant. The top features a map showing the plane journey from the UK to Australia. Around the sides are surfboards, boomerangs, cork hats, an Australian flag, a kangaroo sign and a suitcase with tags saying “OZ” and “Holly” on it.



Theatre Cake

 

 

Made in 2015. The cake is a vanilla sponge filled with nutella and decorated with fondant. On top are the classic comedy and tragedy masks and around the side are logos representing different musicals: Rocky Horror Show, Shock Treatment, Avenue Q, Shrek, Hairspray, Jesus Christ Superstar, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.



Halloween Cupcakes

Made in 2015. They are a vanilla cake topped with vanilla buttercream and fondant monsters. The fondant monsters are werewolves, witches, mummies, vampires, swamp monsters and Frankenstein’s monster.



Birthday Present Cake

Made in 2015. The cake is a vanilla sponge filled with raspberry jam and covered in fondant decorations. The tag was made using an edible icing pen and fixed to the cake using thinly rolled fondant to represent string. Finally the bow and ribbon were both hand moulded using bright pink fondant.



Flower Cupcakes

Made in 2015. They are vanilla cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream and a fondant flower decoration.



Maltesers Cake

Made in 2015. The cake is a vanilla sponge topped with a dark chocolate ganache and circled by chocolate fingers. Maltesers then cover the cake starting with being poured from the packet (which gives the impression of floating in mid-air), filling the top of the cake and then overflowing down the side.

Celtic F.C. Cake

Made in 2015. The cake is a vanilla sponge filled with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream. It is topped in Celtic colours (green and white stripes) with the club logo forming the centrepiece. Additionally there are fondant footballs, a whistle and red & yellows cards on top. Circling the cake is a green and white fondant braid and the phrase “Gerry 60 today” is seen on alternating stripes of colour.
